Domain History

Va1kyrie.net domain and hosting were purchased at Site5 on August 28, 2007. I was getting fed up with Dreamhost and their increasing lag and downtime. Once again, impulsive spending reared its ugly head and I found myself looking elsewhere. I’d always wanted the name valkyrie for a domain, but it’s no surprise that it’s forever unavailable. However, fate intervened and this 1337 speaking ninja had an epiphany. Why not replace the l for a 1? In many fonts, they look nearly identical! And lo and behold, Va1kyrie.net was born!
